Terms of service

01

Who we are and what we offer

veylyn.com (“Veylyn”) is run by —, —, VAT number —, email —. The other details are on the Legal notes page (/legal).

Veylyn lets people who make content (“creators”) build a link page that opens only for people who type a valid five-digit code at veylyn.com. Fans don’t sign up and don’t pay: these terms are for the creator, who also pays if she picks a paid plan.

By signing up you accept these terms. We store the date you accepted them.

02

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 to create an account: you declare it with the box when signing up (or when signing in with Google). If we find out an account belongs to a minor, we close it.

You are responsible for your password and for what happens with your account. If you think someone got in, change it: every other device is signed out.

03

Codes

Every page has a five-digit main code, which you can change or pause at any time, on any plan. A new code switches the old one off at once. With Plus and Pro you can pick the digits; with Pro you can add extra codes, with a name, an end date and a maximum number of entries.

The code chooses who sees the page, but it isn’t a safe: whoever knows it can pass it on. If it travels further than you’d like, change it.

04

What is not allowed on Veylyn

Not allowed on Veylyn: illegal content; anything involving minors; nudity or sexually explicit images uploaded to Veylyn (profile photo, background, button images, story photo); intimate images of people shared without their consent; content that infringes others’ rights (for example copyright, trademarks, image rights); scams, phishing and malware; hate speech and terrorist content.

Your page may link to external sites, adult sites included, only if that content is legal and you follow those sites’ rules. You are responsible for the page, images and links you publish, and for the content they lead to.

05

Reports

Anyone can report a page: with the “Report” link on every creator page, or with the form at /report (which also works by typing the page’s code).

A report asks for the reason, an explanation, and optionally a name and email (not needed to report content involving minors), plus a statement that you act in good faith. If you leave an email, we confirm we received the report and tell you what we decided.

Every report is reviewed by a person: we make no automated decisions.

06

What we can do, and how we explain it

If content breaks these terms or the law we can: remove an image, suspend the page (the code stops opening it) or close the account, in proportion to how serious it is.

We explain every decision to you in writing, by email and in the creator area: the facts we considered, the rule that was broken, that the decision was not automated, and how to contest it. You can reply to us and ask us to review it; you can complain to AGCOM, Italy’s Digital Services Coordinator; you can go to court. If the report turns out to be unfounded, we lift the measure.

Content involving minors is removed at once, the evidence is preserved and it is reported to the Italian Postal Police (Centro nazionale per il contrasto della pedopornografia online, art. 14-ter of Law 269/1998). If we learn of a threat to someone’s life or safety, we inform the authorities (art. 18 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the “DSA”).

07

Fan emails

If you turn the email form on, a fan can leave you their address by ticking an explicit consent (“I explicitly agree that <creator’s name> may email me. I know signing up may reveal my interest in their content.”). Veylyn sends them a confirmation email, and only confirmed addresses reach you (CSV from the creator area).

For those emails you are the data controller and Veylyn is your processor (see below). You agree to: use them only to write to people who agreed, and only for what they agreed to; put an unsubscribe link in every email; honour deletion requests; never sell them or pass them on.

08

Page statistics: joint controllership

For your page’s numbers (entries and taps), you and Veylyn are joint controllers (art. 26 GDPR). Veylyn decides how the data is collected, collects as little as possible (no IP; device and unique visitors only from fans who accept statistics) and keeps it 90 days; you receive only aggregated numbers.

Veylyn handles the notice to fans, security and fans’ requests about their rights, which go to Veylyn. You agree not to try to single out people from the numbers and to forward to us any request from a fan about this data that reaches you. The essence of this arrangement is in the privacy notice.

09

Processing data on your behalf (art. 28 GDPR)

This section is the data processing agreement between you, the controller, and Veylyn, the processor, for fan emails.

Subject matter and duration: Veylyn stores the emails fans leave on your page and makes them available to you, until you delete them or delete the account. Nature and purpose: collection through the form, confirmation email, storage, delivery to you. Types of data: email address and consent record (time of consent, consent text and version, time of confirmation). Data subjects: the fans who sign up.

Veylyn processes this data only on your documented instructions, that is the settings you choose in the studio, unless the law requires otherwise. Anyone authorised to process it is bound to confidentiality.

Security measures (art. 32): passwords stored only as hashes, encrypted connections, access limited to the administrator with a second factor and a log of every access, limits on attempts. The administrator doesn’t see fan emails, only how many there are.

Sub-processors: the hosting provider (named on the Legal notes page) and Resend (email delivery, United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). You give general authorisation for these providers; we announce any change in advance on the Legal notes page, so you can object by closing the account before it applies.

Veylyn helps you answer fans’ requests about their rights and meet the duties of articles 32–36 GDPR (security, data breaches, impact assessments), tells you without delay if a breach affects this data, gives you the information needed to show compliance with this agreement and allows reasonable audits. When you delete the account, the fan emails are deleted.

10

Plans and prices

Creating the account and building the page in the studio is free. Fans can see the page, with the code, only while a paid plan is active.

Start costs €3 a month or €29 a year and has the limits shown on the pricing page (for example 1 item on the page and the Veylyn line at the bottom).

Plus costs €9 a month or €86 a year; Pro costs €19 a month or €180 a year (VAT included).

11

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payment is by card through Stripe. A paid plan turns on only after the charge succeeds and renews by itself at the end of each period (month or year).

You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal, which you open from the creator area: the plan stays on until the end of the paid period, then the page goes offline without deleting data.

For yearly plans we email you 30 days before the renewal, with the date by which to cancel.

If a renewal fails, Stripe retries for a few days; if the payment does not arrive, the page goes offline.

12

Plan and price changes

You can move between paid plans, or from monthly to yearly, at any time: moving up, you pay only the difference for the days left, right away; moving down, the difference becomes a credit on later renewals.

If we change the price or limits of a paid plan, we tell you at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to. You can cancel before then, at no cost.

13

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from each new subscription to withdraw without giving a reason.

At checkout you tick a box asking for the plan to start right away and acknowledging that, if you withdraw within the 14 days, you pay only for the part already used.

To withdraw: in the Plan tab of the studio, during those 14 days, there is the “Withdraw from the contract here” button. Press it, confirm, and you get an email with the date and time of the withdrawal. You can also write to us at — or send us the form below: any clear statement is enough.

We refund the price you paid minus the share for the days already used, within 14 days of the withdrawal and to the same payment method. The page goes offline.

14

Model withdrawal form

(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

— To: —, —, —

— I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: ______ subscription to Veylyn

— Ordered on ______

— Name of consumer(s): ______

— Address of consumer(s): ______

— Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper)

— Date ______

(*) Delete as appropriate.

15

Guarantee and liability

We do our best to keep the service reachable, but cannot promise it without interruptions. We may improve or change features; for paid plans, what is said above about changes applies.

For consumers, the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services applies (articles 135-octies and following of the Italian Consumer Code).

We limit our liability only where the law allows it. We never exclude or limit it for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for the rights the law gives consumers. We are not responsible for the content of the external sites creators’ links lead to.

16

Closing the account

From the creator area you can download all your data in one file and delete the account at any time. Deletion removes the page, codes, numbers, fan emails and images, and closes any subscription. Only the data the law makes us keep remains (for example payment records).

17

Governing law and disputes

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, you can sue us before the courts of the place where you live, and we can sue you only there.

Veylyn does not currently adhere to any alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. For any problem, write to us first: we will try to solve it.
